Paperchase is an exciting story in six episodes, written and produced for children at an elementary level of English. We follow a 12 year old boy, Bobby, who with Susie Potter, the owner of the antique shop "Fans", become involved in a series of dramatic events. One day Susie asks Bobby to mind the shop for a little while, while she goes shopping. Soon after, a man called Mike Fenner comes into the shop. Mike needs something to put under a chest of drawers, which is missing a leg. Bobby finds a book that is just the right height, but as the book is part of a set, Mike is forced to buy all the books.

When Susie comes back, Bobby very proudly tells her that he has sold the books. But Susie is not happy at all; it turns out that Susie had been hiding her money in one of the books!

They drive round southern England in pursuit the missing money. We meet a number of people from a small English provincial town. How the story ends? Follow the six episodes of Paperchase!
