Out and About 1 is an innovative newly produced DVD suitable for 10-13 year-olds, almost beginners, at all types of school.
Each episode features three parts: a studio section with real people acting with graphics in the background, an entertaining animated section and finally an "authentic" documentary part set in Bristol.
A separate didactic section practises the contents and structures in more depth.
Out and About 1 features topics related to young people and also provides them with many opportunities for intercultural learning about Britain. In addition, learners are shown model situations which will inspire them to imitate linguistic structures, intonation and even body language.
