Jaffar in Paris - the roller skater
Jaffar's parents are divorced. We meet him both at his father's apartment in Boulogne-Billancourt, a big suburb to the southwest of Paris, and in the 20th arrondissement where his mother lives. He visits a bookshop, a little out of the ordinary, and shows us the local market, the famous tennis stadium Rolland Garros and Parc des Princes, home arena of the Paris Saint Germain football team.

Jaffar participates in the fabulous Friday Night Fever, a roller skating randonnée that takes place every Friday night. Thousands of roller skaters gather and skate on the streets of downtown Paris.
