In this series we meet a variety of young people in their work, school and free time. Ordinary, and sometimes even extraordinary, young people describe their lives spontaneously, naturally and without script. This is a practical and easy way to bring German language and culture into the classroom. The programs are filmed on location in Hamburg and Berlin.
Meet:
Rasca Cocous, a Berlin rock band on the Rise.
Sabine, a promising young tennis player. Her coach thinks she should turn professional, but she would rather study Greek and Latin.
Lars, son of a priest in the former East Germany. He talks about how the fall of the Berlin wall has been a turning-point in his life, opening up new oportunities for him.
Niki, who belongs to a group called "Jugend gegen Gewalt".
Verena, a young fashion model.
Miguel, a student at the Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama.
