Get a glimpse of life backstage at the world famous musical "Starlight Express"! We have a chat with one of the girls on roller-skates who talks about her job, experience and hopes for the future.
In "Friends" we accompany Dave and Mickey on a visit to the gym, to the hair stylist, on a shopping tour, to the pub and at the disco. What does friendship mean?
"Leaving home". Melissa has just finished school and is about to leave home to begin studies at the polytechnic. We meet three generations of her family and enjoy a Sunday lunch in their garden.
The rock group "Euphoria" is preparing for a concert at Covent Garden's rock club. Can they earn a living with their music? Who are their heroes? Do the have any plans for the future? What do their parents think?

"Last day of school". We meet Mem and her friends at a traditional English private girl school. What kind of expectation does she have for the future? Sex roles, thoughts of husband, family and future work. Advantages as well as disadvantage of the school system is discussed. How does it feel to be placed at a private boarding school at age seven?
